Gud is made the way it has been for generations by boiling fresh sugarcane juice slowly, over time, until it thickens into a deep, earthy sweetness.

There is no bleaching, no polishing, no artificial setting. Once ready, it is hand-poured into blocks and left to cool naturally, carrying with it warmth, minerals, and a flavour that feels familiar.

As the liquid thickens, it is allowed to crystallise naturally, forming soft, uneven sugar crystals instead of hard, refined grains.

There is no stripping, bleaching, or whitening. The shakkar keeps its natural hue and mild, rounded flavour.

Carefully Dried & Packed

Once crystallised, it is lightly dried and packed without polishing—simple, honest sweetness as kitchens once knew.
