Refund and Return Policy

At Gaonvaasi, we strive to deliver fresh, authentic, and high-quality products. Since we deal in food and consumable items, certain conditions apply for returns and refunds.

Returns Eligibility

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • Wrong product delivered
  • Product damaged or leaked in transit
  • Expired product received

We do not accept returns for:

  • Opened, used, or partially consumed products
  • Products damaged due to customer mishandling
  • Change of mind or taste preference

Return Window

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order ID
  • Photos/videos showing the issue
  • Unboxing video (if possible — helps in courier claim)

Refund Methods

Once your complaint is reviewed and approved, we may offer:

  • Replacement product
  • Store credit
  • Full or partial refund to original payment method

Refund timelines generally take 7–10 working days.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only.
  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.
  • Prepaid order cancellations (before dispatch) will be refunded to original payment source.

Incorrect Address / Missed Delivery

Refunds will not be provided if:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address was provided
  • Customer was unavailable at delivery time
  • Delivery was refused without valid reason
